Last Updated: October, 2024
Human Rights Commitment
At HighRadius, we are committed to respecting human rights as defined in the International Labor Organization’s Fundamental Conventions, the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. We are also committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and vendor value chain.
Diversity and Inclusion
HighRadius is committed to creating and maintaining a workplace in which all employees have an opportunity to participate and contribute to the success of the business and are valued for their skills, experience, and unique perspectives.
We strive to foster an inclusive and collaborative culture. We should all feel comfortable being ourselves when we come to work and appreciate our similarities as well as value our differences. As a global company, we all have the shared responsibility to create an environment where we can inspire new ways to engage, step out of our teams and make new and meaningful connections at any level.
Equal Opportunity and Freedom from Harassment and Discrimination
HighRadius provides equal employment opportunities to all employees, interns (paid or unpaid), volunteers, and applicants for employment without regard to age, ancestry, color, religion, physical or mental disability, genetic information, military and veteran status, national origin, race, sex, gender, gender identity, and gender expression, pregnancy or related medical conditions, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or any other legally protected class under federal, state or local laws. Equal employment opportunity applies to all terms and conditions of employment. Similarly, all personnel policies, actions, and programs are administered without regard to any legally protected status as described above. HighRadius prohibits any form of unlawful employee harassment or discrimination based on any of the characteristics mentioned above. Sexual harassment training is provided in accordance with all state and local laws.
We all have a shared responsibility in creating an environment of mutual respect, free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. If you feel as though you or someone else has been treated unfairly, bring it to the attention of your manager or P&C. We also will not tolerate any type of retaliation.
Retaliation means adverse conduct taken because an individual reported an actual or perceived violation of this policy, opposed practices prohibited by this policy, or participated in the reporting and investigation process described below. “Adverse conduct” includes but is not limited to:
- Shunning and avoiding an individual who reports harassment, discrimination, or retaliation;
- Express or implied threats or intimidation intended to prevent an individual from reporting harassment, discrimination or retaliation; or
- Denying employment benefits because an applicant or employee reported harassment, discrimination or retaliation or participated in the reporting and investigation process.
Reasonable Accommodation and Accessibility
HighRadius is committed to providing a workplace that is accessible to all. Any applicant or employee who requires an accommodation in order to perform the essential functions of the job should notify his or her supervisor, another member of management, or People & Culture, and request such an accommodation. HighRadius will then work with the employee, and in many cases, his/her healthcare provider, to identify possible accommodations, if any, that will help to eliminate the limitation or barrier.
HighRadius will also consider requests for reasonable accommodations for medical conditions related to pregnancy, childbirth, and lactation where supported by medical documentation and/or as required by applicable federal, state, or local law.
Employees who wish to request unpaid time away from work because of a qualifying disability should speak to People & Culture regarding a proposed accommodation.
Religious Accommodation
HighRadius will attempt to make reasonable accommodations for employee observance of religious holidays and sincerely held religious beliefs, including time off for religious holidays and accommodations related to dress and grooming practices, unless doing so would cause an undue hardship on Company operations. If you desire a religious accommodation, you are required to make the request in writing to your supervisor as far in advance as possible.
Commitment to Workplace Safety
HighRadius is committed to providing safe and healthy workplace conditions to prevent accidents, injuries, or exposure to health risks. Protecting and promoting the safety of our employees and visitors is one of the most important aspects of running our business.
All employees have the opportunity and responsibility to contribute to a safe work environment by using common sense rules and safe practices and by notifying management when any health or safety issues are present. We all play a critical role in ensuring the safety of ourselves and others. In the event of an emergency, please call emergency services right away.
HighRadius will enforce all policies in accordance with applicable state and local law.
Working Conditions
Working hours, breaks, holidays, and leave periods are established in compliance with local laws and agreements. HighRadius shall ensure that all employees are provided with written agreements of employment and are free to leave their work after giving reasonable notice.
Fair Wages and Benefits
Compensation paid to workers shall comply with all applicable wage laws, including those relating to minimum wages, overtime hours and legally mandated benefits. We use market and industry standards to apply fair wages where no wage law is in existence.
Child Labour
We abide by local minimum age laws and do not use or condone child labor in any circumstance.
Modern Slavery / Forced Labour
HighRadius does not tolerate any form of modern slavery or forced labor, including debt bondage, indentured labor or involuntary prison labor, nor any involvement in human trafficking in its business activities. This includes transporting, harboring, recruiting, transferring or receiving persons by means of threat, force, coercion, abduction or fraud for labor or services. HighRadius will not unreasonably restrict workers’ freedom of movement throughout company-provided facilities nor unreasonably restrict workers’ entering or exiting company-provided facilities.
HighRadius will engage with suppliers to eradicate modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking in our supply chain.
Freedom of Association
HighRadius respects our employees’ right to join, form or not to join a labor union or workers’ council without fear of reprisal, intimidation or harassment.
Whistleblower and Complaint Procedures
The E-Line: HighRadius Ethics Line allows for anonymous reporting of complaints, concerns, or violations related to this policy. Alternatively, employees may make report to People and Culture or any member of leadership the employee feels comfortable communicating the information. Complaints and concerns raised by vendors, suppliers, or any external stakeholders can be communicated with the HighRadius Legal Department.
Employees are encouraged to report violations of this policy and concerns, even if they relate to incidents in the past, involve individuals who are no longer affiliated with the Company, or concern conduct occurring outside of work if it impacts the individual at work.
HighRadius specifically prohibits retaliation against any employee for protesting, complaining about, and/or reporting any violations of this policy, or for cooperating in any complaint and/or participating in an investigation or proceeding related to this Policy.
All employees, specifically including managers and/or supervisors, are under the obligation to report any conduct prohibited by this Policy immediately so the complaints can be quickly and fairly resolved.
Upon receipt of a complaint, HighRadius will undertake an appropriate and objective investigation of the allegations. In the event HighRadius determines a violation of this Policy has occurred, then appropriate remedial action will be taken appropriate to and/or proportionate with the nature and severity of the conduct.
Nothing in this policy prohibits an employee from reporting concerns to, filing a charge or complaint with, making lawful disclosures to, providing documents or other information to or participating in an investigation or hearing conducted by any federal, state, or local agency charged with the enforcement of any laws.
