Is Autonomous Software the Solution for Finance Leaders in 2023 and Beyond?

B2B Cloud Software will be dead by 2030. Is Autonomous Software the Solution?

Speaking at the recently concluded Radiance 2022 by HighRadius, Sashi Narahari, Founder & CEO, HighRadius outlines why B2B SaaS will be dead by 2030 and how Autonomous Software will be the go-to solution for the CFOs office for the foreseeable future. 

While the software has evolved tremendously over the last several decades, if you take a closer look at the evolution of enterprise or B2B software, you will realize that it has merely driven the transition of the workplace from paper and filing cabinets to electronic systems of record. 

C-R-U-D is an acronym that stands for Create-Read-Update-Delete. Take any enterprise software today and you will realize that the most significant part of the software capability centers around features and functionality that support C-R-U-D activities.

For example, take Sales Order creation in SAP. You key in an SAP Transaction Code. Select from a set of options on a screen. And start punching data into a new sales order form on an SAP screen. Basically, the process has moved from being on paper to a computer screen.

Or take the example of a cloud application such as Salesforce. Salesforce centers around a few key data objects (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities). If you want to create a new sales opportunity record in Salesforce, the process is surprisingly not very different from the steps you would follow in SAP.

So, what is the bet that HighRadius is making? We are investing heavily in building domain-specific autonomous finance solution, that is powered by data-driven finance applications.

HighRadius has made a lot of progress in Autonomous Receivables for order-to-cash and Autonomous Treasury for cash forecasting for the CFOs office. Looking ahead, finance leaders will need a holistic solution that can take care of all their accounting requirements. Autonomous Accounting can provide the desired visibility, user experience, and support that finance leaders need to safeguard their business from any economic uncertainties.
